Well this has been a pretty shitty birthday

I’ve been having massive sleep problems so I tried to contact my doctor, couldn’t get through the line and having to deal with the call center is so frustrating (unable to get connected to the right doctor or even get past the first option on the phone menu) that I’ve had to resort to pleading on Oppo for help (and getting called an attention whore, fun.) I finally got in touch with a doctor only to be told that she doesn’t have a clue of what to do (didn’t help that she practically misunderstood every single word coming out of my mouth) so she told me to come down to the clinic and that there would be zero copay. Went down there only to be told there’s an $80 copay so I left and I’m still lightheaded and barely able to function. In the meantime I’ve sent a number of tweets to @KPMemberServices telling them what a lousy experience I’ve had, what I’ve had to go through just trying to get a doctor on the line and that I’ll be contacting my insurance broker to see if it’s possible to terminate my membership and enroll with someone else prior to open enrollment. Nobody should have to go through this kind of nonsense, wtf is the point of having a health care provider then?

Don’t have Kaiser Permanente as your insurance provider, kids.
