It’s over. Air quality has surpassed the legal limit in one of the sensors... they need to activate the environmental ordinances. NOW!

I don’t understand what the fuck is wrong with Governor Del Mazo, or Chief of Government Sheinbaum, or the folks at the Environmental Commission for the Megalopolis.
The worst offender is PM2.5 which primarily is released by cars. In this case the slew of forest fires had caused the high levels of PM2.5 in the weekend.

Despite not surpassing the legal limits, a reasonable comission would’ve activated the ordinance today to prevent a worse air quality. But they didn’t, and even if the sensor at Ciudad Neza already indicates illegal levels of pollution they are not activating it yet... We have been dealing with very high levels of PM2.5 and PM10 for four days... this is hysterical.
