For example, here in the U.K., here is how much I paid for healthcare.

I work four nights a week at a supermarket and get around £15,000-17,000 a year. With the way the tax system works here, I am allowed to earn £11,500 before I start paying tax, this tax (income tax) is 20%.

Last year I earned £15,308.71 of which £1,65.56 was paid in tax (£749.60) and National Insurance Contributions (£867.96).

Yes, we get a tax form but then we also get this which shows where our money went from how much we paid and a pie chart for a quick visual.
