In 2014 I ended up being hospitalized under psychiatric evaluation and stuck with a bunch of medical bills. The therapist who put me there said he’d help take care of them, yet when I did my own research I’ve discovered he sent absolutely none of the paperwork he kept promising to send, so I guess I’m on my own.

I’ve done some research and under the course of that research I go into contact with The Lemberg Law Firm who informed me that under current Obamacare laws I’m apparently under no obligation to have to pay for my bills regardless, and that if I inform the creditors who keep calling (apparently it’s two, MediCredit and Aragon Debt Collection with the former being the worst offender) to cease all attempts to make contact and collect debt, they’re legally obligated to stop or risk facing civil penalties. Unfortunately Lemberg Law doesn’t represent my state so I’m wondering what my other legal recourses are.

I’m also having a hell of a time finding a law firm in my state that will represent this kind of legal health case (apparently Colorado sucks). I’d especially like to sue the bastard therapist who started this for malpractice, or at least see if I can get his license to practice in this state premanently revoked.
