I just placed an order to upgrade my internet.

It's been a while since I reviewed my internet package and things have changed in a very good way.

For about the same money, I'm going from a plan (with Primus) with less than 1 mbps upload, 6 mbps download with no data cap and home phone with extra features I don't use to a 10 mbps upload, 25 mbps download with no data cap and a basic home phone. To keep the monthly cost the same, I locked into a 2 year plan which knocks about $20 off the monthly cost.

The only real additional cost is $100 for a new DSU.

Within 7 days, the rockin' internet speed upgrade will be live for me.

It's a good idea to check at least once a year to see if there are internet data plan changes. The provider usually won't upgrade you automatically. So you end up being in a package that may have been competitive years ago, but uncompetitive by today's standards.
